2004-2014 Making these paintings was a way for me to create an idyll for my mother, Sheila, after her passing. I set out to imbue them with an abundant, elemental beauty, elegance, colour and exoticism akin to the gardens she cultivated and nurtured throughout her life. (These paintings are a small selection of the full collection).
